The Gay Christian Network: Since 2001 the Gay Christian Network has provided resources and connection for gay Christians and their allies. It has hosted “The Great Debate” of Side A (affirming) and Side B (LGBTQ people who believe that God calls them to be celibate). It is especially interesting that LGBTQ people themselves host this diversity, while churches have often insisted on taking one side or the other. Love Boldly is an organization that seeks to create safe spaces for conversation and friendship between people with differing views on sexuality. New Direction Ministry of Canada has many terrific resources to facilitate conversation around LGBT sexuality.
